Lovinio privacy
Updated 2 November 2026. Lovinio is a personal fitness and wellbeing tool, not a medical device. It cannot diagnose disease or identify a past heart attack.
Optional Apple Health permissions read the measurements, workouts and sleep you choose. History is processed in protected local app storage, with optional encrypted sync and backups described below. HealthKit records are never sent for ad targeting or automatically attached to support. Reports/backups you explicitly export may reveal sensitive information to your chosen destination.
Food photos are optional. Label reading runs on-device. Cloud food estimation is inactive in this build. Before activation, separate consent must identify the provider, payload and retention. Estimates are not measurements.
Optional support sends your typed message, application, category, version, language, platform and optional reply email through B2D infrastructure and Resend to the shared support inbox. Health records and photos are not attached automatically. See support privacy for handling, retention and deletion requests.
Lovinio release versions may show Google AdMob ads at occasional breaks after a saved workout review. Google UMP manages applicable consent and privacy choices; you can reopen required advertising privacy choices in App preferences. Lovinio requests non-personalized ads and does not send health records, photos or profile data for targeting, request precise location, or request tracking permission. Google may process IP-derived general location, device identifiers, advertising interactions, crash and performance data for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Non-personalized ads still involve data processing. Verified lifetime ad removal stops ad requests. Debug versions use Google demo ads.
Optional account sync uses your name, email and account ID. With your consent, encrypted history, including health, fitness, photos and notes, is stored on the account server. Folder backups save encrypted history to your selected local, iCloud Drive or supported Files provider. Recovery phrases stay in this device’s Keychain; keep a separate copy. Older files need their original phrase. Automatic copies run while the app is open; 0 selects manual mode. Retention removes only this installation’s older copies after a verified automatic save. Pausing sync or signing out keeps local history. Account deletion removes the account and its online backup; exported files must be deleted separately. Health and backup content are not used for advertising.
Delete local history in Settings. This does not delete Apple Health records or previously exported files. Keep an accessible backup and its recovery phrase before deleting the app. Use the support form for requests relating to submitted messages.
